Although Zakopane is lovely throughout the year, the town is seriously special at Christmas. Festive lights twinkle in the snowy night air. Market stalls sell warming food and mulled wine alongside gifts of every kind and colour. In the town’s restaurants, guests are invited to help decorate the Christmas tree before dinner.
